With Freez Flv to Mp3 Converter users can extract the audio from flash video files (FLV) and convert it to an MP3 audio file. The program includes different output options, so the resulting files can be adjusted to the user needs to be played anywhere.

With this program users can set the output audio bitrate, frequency, channels, or simply leave the values the same way as the FLV original audio stream. The interface is not complicated at all. Plus just with a few steps you can convert batches of FLV files to MP3 files at high speed.

New in this version is the conversion engine. It enhances the quality of the sound of the FLV files to be converted. This was an issue in previous versions since it did not matter the bit rate or other settings the output turned out just as good or bad as the original file.

Though it lacks certain options, such as removing unnecessary silences or split or trim functions, it does its job perfectly and its speed is quite amazing.

The program is not free. After an undetermined number of uses it forces the user to register and purchase it through the interface, though the Website does not have a purchasing option for any of its programs. This is why it is not recommended!

This is billed as freeware, but after a while you are forced to register. The registration window takes you to the web site where you are forced to pay for it. The page shows a "free" version and a "full" version, but the site won't allow users to register the "free" version. Their excuse? "The free registration has been closed for the huge website traffic."

If you don't click the register now option...which by the way says the registration code is free...the application will close. So...to recap...you are forced to register for a price to use the free version.

It's been that way for months. It is false advertising. I won't do business with an unethical company like this.
