Freez FLV to MP3 Converter allows you to convert FLV files to MP3. The application is well designed for the task at hand. This is not a complicated converter at all. If you want to extract the audio of a FLV file and convert it to MP3, you have to add the file to the application, and then select the quality settings you want to use. You can set default settings or chose your own. You can't really tweak much, with bitrate and frequency being the only two settings that are modifiable. There is something I don't get, though. If you want to make a song out of an FLV file from YouTube, it won't matter what quality you set for it, since there is no way the file will sound even remotely well in comparison with a regular MP3, even a low quality one. I guess this really works for when you want to just extract and convert low quality sounds and don't care for the final quality. However, Freez FLV to MP3 converter carries the task of converting FLV files to MP3 quite well, and doesn't need any external codecs to do so. |
